Training

Gateway Alliance Against Human Trafficking provides workshops and trainings throughout the year. The purpose of on-going training is to:

Empower the Top 5 communities that were points of access, to potentially help identify victims of human trafficking, based on National Human Trafficking Hotline data. Those communities are the general public (our community, family, and friends), law enforcement, criminal justice professionals, and child welfare system care providers,

Enhance the handling of child trafficking, abuse, and exploitation in a manner that reduces additional trauma to the child,

Improve the investigation and prosecution of child trafficking cases, and

Minimize victimization of vulnerable children.

Our courses are qualified for continuing education certification. MCLE, POST, and General CE is available.
